i dont do many posts like this... if im on diary-x it would have been password protected.

After so many times of getting teary eyed and all that about school ending and stuff, i finally cried. But strangely enough, for a completely different reason something almost completely opposite because it made me WANT school and the exams and everything about it to end.

Of all times, he had to choose last night, when he's gonna be spending the next two days at home because its the weekend(o right. and monday too since its a holiday). and what sucks most is that he's partially correct. Honestly tho. i DID try looking for stuff and finding out things but u dont know how HARD it is to find anything on university websites! anyway in the end somehow managed to find something on it when he's there and then he started shouting at me for not knowing anything about anything. and its all so stupid. the whole NUS thing. so apparently its starting in august. i didnt hand in my b2 form to Mary Toh cuz i forgot it on thursday and i thought i would have time anyway and didnt need it. that form is so that my results get sent directly to the universities once they come out. so since i didnt hand it in ill have to send my result to NUS by myself. which is something i was prepared to do until last night. THen again im not THAT keen on going to NUS. k. NUS starts in august. i wont be applying to the 2 other aussi unis until once my IB results are out. but then their term starts in february. so i wont hear from them instantly right?? and if say i DO get accepted by NUS then its not like i have a choice to make yet because i dont know about the aussi universities yet! in a way im hoping i dont get into NUS. to make sure i dont get into NUS i cant do so well in my IB. which is of course an extremely stupid goal. but if i do get accepted thers a high chance ill be stuck here in singapore for the next 7 years AT LEAST. (4 yrs uni, and 3 yr bond) . that sorta sux. and i sometimes see myself trying to find my way around a foreign place already. in australia that is. by myself. cuz its just... exciting. and in a way i really want to go off on my own. anyway. my point is... im stressed about exams and my stupid exam schedule, im feeling extremely guilty for not handing in my b2 form to mary toh, i was working on this (prove RHS=LHS) math question and getting absolutely NO WHERE with it and being extremely frustrated, then he has to come in and ask me about uni and my applications and then blame me for not knowing anything when i have personally talked to the uni people who wont tell me anything! then he goes out saying, "better go sleep early" which makes absolutely no sense at all since it was already about 1am when he came in.

so today, not wanting to spend any time with him, i spent very many hours in the library again (although this time i did so little compared to what ive been doing on other days especially yesterday. i cant concentrate when im pissed off) and managed to escape getting a lift to the library with "the sun's out, i feel like walking" which was actually quite true because the sun does get rid of depression and i like the sun. its not a very long walk anyway. and its 2 bus stops down. i got on the bus listening to one song on my mp3, and the same song was still playing when i stepped offf the bus. the walk from the bus stop to the library however was quite long. but on thursday i actually walked from the library back home and i quite enjoyed it.

tomorrow i wont be in the house again. im getting sick of sitting for hours in the library by myself so instead, im going somewhere to work with amy. somewhere with food and more people. i need to decide what to revise tomorrow tho. i feel like theres so much more to revise. but i think ive pretty much covered everything for bio and math, and geo i need to learn things like statistics and case studies which is a whole lot of memorising, which i tried already, and got memorised, some of them, but i usually forget after a while, so its one of those things i have to learn in the 3 hours i have before going into the first geo exam on tuesday after english paper 1. i need to do the same for biology. ive studied the DNA stuff, muscle and movement stuff, and respiration and photosynthesis stuff (anything with long processes) quite a few times and at times i know them very well off by heart but after a few days i try to write it down on paper from scratch and i have lots of gaps not knowin what enzyme goes where, whats the name of certain things and different number of carbons, getting NAD and NADH mixed up and all that. my brain feels like its overflowing, and all these little bits and bobs keep falling out and getting lost. and it sucks cuz i keep having to go back and look for them in the txtbk and then at the same time, trying to think of that it links to another topic and i realise i dont remmber that as well! and its all very frustrating. and my math tutor wont come tomorrow because he 'cant make it' i dont know WHY. so he's coming on monday morning instead which is a bit last minute! agh. damn him. he gets on my nerves so much sometmes. i hope tomorrow is the last time ill see him ever again. since he doesnt know much about binary operations, sets and groups anyway, for my p3 exam.

so if uve read the entire thing (and i thank you for that) then u could probably see why i finally had a breakdown. The last time that happened was before mocks. mocks was pretty stressful too. since my first exams in grd 11 was pretty crap. i managed to improve a lot, so that was very motivating. but now that motivation is sorta fading especially with the thought of going to NUS if i miraculously do very well.

dont tell me its silly. i know.

jie/hl, if u read this, dont u dare breathe a word to mum or pa or i will personally strangle you when u get back. i guess i should get rid of my blog address on msn...

i'll get over the frustration and anger at(?) him after a while.
or so we hope.

btw, if u have to look good the next day for some reason, crying yourself to sleep the night before is not a good idea. unless u desperately want a double(for those who dont have) or even triple eyelid.....

exam exam exam exam...

ive been reading lots of blogs with interesting things but guess what? i have nothing interesting to say. so instead ill be complaining about exams.

Revision isnt going as well as planned. im STILL behind schedule. its scary how much we've learnt over the past 2 years. and to have to remember everything for an exam where less than half of everything we've learnt will come up just sucks. o ya, i was looking thru my bio notes from GCSE cuz i remember having a really good diagram in there i could learn for IB... instead of their complex diagrams in the txtbk cuz its the same thing anyway. so i got out my bio folder from GCSE and i just realised how litttle we had to know! my entire gcse bio folder is less than half of whati have for IB. for gcse i had one folder. now i have 2. and they're over the top full... ok. i guess if i organised my notes a bit id have a bit less but most things in ther are very useful!

So this is it.

Our last day of school.
We had the awards assembly today. Us grd 12's are on the bleachers! it was quite fun to watch the rest of the school squish uncomfortably on the floor... :) after all, i have done that for 3 years. (then again there are people in my grade who's been here since grade 4, so they must have been more satisfied than me!) After the assembly, we had our final tutor group session where we finally got our Footprints book. then we had our own grd 12 assembly, and we watched this video made by some people.. there was a videogame fight sorta thing (think streetfighter!) that they did which was really good! and funny. :) and stuff... then we had a barbeque at labrador park, west coast. and it was all good and fun. haha.

first day of our last week

SO today was pretty interesting. no pictures yet cuz ive spent enough time not doing schoolwork today. :) so ill post them later. btw time was spent on getting my cartoon day outfit ready. ;)

Some people came to school looking completely insane. it was very cool. i attempted to 'dress up' but it sorta didnt work very well. haha. o WELL. at least i had something right? ^^

Someone dumped manure around the humanities block today. i dont know exactly what they did, but i know that it stinked. i had geo first thing in the morning. i think it was a very STUPID idea. 1- its NOT funny. 2- poor estate women have to clear it up! 3- people (in ALL grades includins us) who are studying at the humanities block will have to endure the smell (imagine the teachers there!)
So during lunch, all the grd 12s were called to the main hall to receive a lecture from Di Smart who was extremely pissed off (duh..) and warned us if anyone does anything else, the entire leavers week dressingup will be called off, and no more barbecue. or whatever else that we got to do. Oh, and apparently someone drew something on the field too. which would apparently take about 2 weeks to get off the field...

Today i had my LAST BIO CLASS! its very sad since bio is the only subject in school i can say i LIKE. Nisha made this card and we all signed it, and Anne baked a little cake (it tasted very good and it was very cute cuz its so small). So last bio class did feel like a last lesson. and we got a class photo too.
Grace and i were rejoicing about having our last english lesson too. but unfortunately in the middle of class we came up with a revision session on monday 10:10am next week. He sorta expects us all to be there since we said we wanted a revision session. So ill be going to english on monday 10:10am. So that would be our last english class. As much as i hate english as a subject, i do like my english class. Today Brigitte decided to change all of Mr Bev's little green toy soldiers on the notice board to pink ones. Then she left some green ones on mr bev's table lying down *dead* and the pink ones standing up. i thought it was very cute. haha. anyway.. mr bev came in and yeah.. he was a bit like.. wth happened? so anyway. he brought us cake which was VERY good cuz i think it came from secret recipe. haha.
so today i had cake in bio and english.

Its strange how i can end up writing so much sometimes...

*currently obsessesed with "No Reason" by Sum41. i think its just the melody of the chorus that i like...*

2 more real schooldays.
its funny... when i was counting with 20+ days before... it sounded pretty close already and was like"WHOA WE'RE LEAVING SCHOOL IN 20+ days!" but now that we have 2 omre days its like "what? o. yeah were leaving."

last thursday and a random thought

Today is our last schoolday in uniform. The next time i go to school in uniform will be for exams. After that, i'll never have to wear school uniform again! ever!
so next week is a bit of a problem. I thought that rockstar day would be easy, but now im sorta stuck with no ideas of how i should dress up. i got history day (sort of) sorted and cartoon day. why does rockstar have to be on MONDAY!? worse to worse i'll go avril. O.O i dont want to do that. then again avril isnt exactly rock is she?

So. Usually on thursdays i have period 7-8 free. for the past few weeks Swati and I have been going out for lunch cuz we can take our time eating and wont be late for class. Today we went to Subway in HollandV. i had a Map Skills class(for geo options) during lunch so they sorta had to wait for me (even tho i said they could go first and ill meet them there later!) i felt bad that they had to wait till lunch time was OVER before going out for lunch. Since today dom has a free as well, he joined us. and mjelva came too cuz he usually has a free anyway. I managed to get some pictures before i went to geo. This is us in our very cool leavers sweaters :) mine say Enarual at the back. i should have got a picture of our backs! i wanted to do that. i sorta forgot.

Anyway... our last lunch was fun (excluding the fact that this time i was attacked by certain people who have an obesssion with poking noses! and chins in swati's case. i mean she was poked too. shes not the attacker.) lunch outside of school is always fun esp with fun people! :) i dont understand why it took us so long to start going out for lunches. swati and i have had the same free since grade 11! and for the entire year we stayed at school and had sodexho food. i guess its only towards the end of the year that we start getting sick of school food...??

Ok this is pretty random. I was doing something that day and somehow thought of my old primary schools. We had this thing called 'tugas' or 'duty' in english. i dont really remember whether its during break or after school or something, but everyday, some students will have to clean up the classroom. and then the pengawas/prefects(me! for half a year :P) will go around every classroom and give a score under different categories (eg. whiteboard, floor, corridor etc.) for how clean the classroom is. then at the end of the week the cleanest classroom(highest score) will get acknowledgement. haha. :)
and now in this school we dont even have to bother with it cuz during lunch and after school the estate ppl will come around and clean up the classroom.. and every lunch they go around clearing up after studends who cant bother to put their plates away on the trolleys or throw away a paper plate when the bin is about 5 steps away. i dont see how hard that is.
oh and the teachers are another problem. di smart once walked by, and picked up a paper cup or something from the floor. She then came over to our table and asked us to throw it away in the bin. then she walked off, past the rubbish bin. HELLO?? if she's walking past the bin, why cant she just throw it in the bin? the bin was closer than our table from where she piked up the cup. i might have rambled on about this before probably in my old blog. haha. but hey, it really does annoy me so nobody can stop me!

so anywya. i think thats enough procrastinating. im going off to do a bit of revision before i go to bed or come back online again.
