"you're so lucky it didnt rain today"- thats what my bro said to me when he saw me just now after i got back. hes right. we ARE so lucky! yesterday it was pouring the whole day but today was nice and sunny and the weather was perfecto. loved it.

we didnt do much at all come to think of it... haha. had lunch, played volleyball, sat, got wet, sat, had dinner, watched musical fountain.and that was our whole day! (we got there about 12 went home about 9-ish)

i didnt get burnt which was a good thing! haha. i used to think i tan easily. but after today i guess not. im pretty much the same color. i think. :) either i couldnt get any tanner cuz i already was or i just dont tan so easily. but maybe i am tanner. haha. i should stop there... :P

I'M NO LONGER UNIVERSITY-LESS! hahaha! I got accepted to UniSA which is in Adelade, South Australia to study pharmacy for 4 years. with a condition of getting 3o points in IB but 30 points is THE a minimum i need to get. if dont get over 30 points im pretty screwed! i mean i WILL get over 30. definitely. really. i cant get below a 5 in most subjects. SO yeah.... at least i now feel safe! YAY!!

post grad blues...

I just looked through my grad photos again and i think there's a problem with my camera. i get some good photos... and then the next bunch of photos are crap... and then the following photos are okay.. and the next are crap... it cant be coincidental that people can take good photos all together, and then the next group of people who take the photos are crap. right? and its not the lighting either cuz there are good and bad pictures in the same place. so. its my camera. and half of my photos are pretty crap. which really sux. aagh. graduation night could have been better. loads better.

so. forgetting the crappy things about graduation night... here are the good things...

- everyone looked gorgeous. it was a night of beautiful people, on the inside, and outside.
- i can now say that i have performed to an audience of about 750 people. (so what if half of them werent listening... ^^ )
- its nice that we got a little bear each and the '06 photo. oh, and a rose :) but my mum got me a bouquet anyway and its very pretty.
- (the id problem and cost aside...) the afterparty was very fun. i wish it had lasted longer...

um yea. it might have gotten a bit repetitive from previous blog entry i think but whatever. dont know how many people read through it anyway....

im feeling sort of depressed at the moment. it could be that only now its slowly sinking in that i wont be meeting many of these people ever again. and to top that off i dont have good photos of them. or even a picture of them with me.

GRADUATION

IM FINALLY A GRADUATE OF UWC. I'm no longer a grade 12 student. if thers some survey or something we have to fill out now and they ask for 'occupation' where we would usually put 'student' we cant say that now since were not really students anymore until we start uni again... so what should i put? unemployed? o.O

some are really bad... i dont know if its the cams prob or the photographers prob... but i think partially the cam problem.

so anyway. graduation was pretty nerve wrecking. i almost tripped walking on stage. no one noticed tho. :) i couldnt find very many ppl under the tent it was quite silly. the dinner i thought was a complete waste of money. the food wasnt good, and the buffet was always empty! so much for being able to switch seats once the dinner started. there wasnt much time nor space for that... the dessert was good tho... and the toilet was nice. haha. theres a pic in there taken in the toilet. u probably cant tell tho. cuz its pretty. haha.
we got a little teddy bear each... that was nice :) but still not worth what we paid.

after the dinner, we went to afterparty. the whole thing about ppl not beinbg able to go in cuz they didnt have ids was so stupid. its a friggin private party! well aynwya. after spending quite a long time hanging around figuring out stuff about ids and stuff, we got in and pretty much everything went uphill from there (well it cant get any worse! actually it could have. but it didnt really.)

good music(live band!), good people (wish there were more tho...) and good fun :)not sure how much i really drank. sorta drank off any glass i found thats not so empty on the table. i had my own but didnt finish that. then again the drinks keep disappearing...everytime we go off to the dance floor and come back theyre gone. anyway. i guess i didnt drink v much cuz i was fine the entire night. :) i tried quenching my thirst with ice... not very easy cuz ice come with a mouthful of drink as well... sorta hard to get ice out~ anyway... yeah. it was fun. and some things were quite amusing... my feet hurt like crazy after that. heels a bit high.. but they were good. didnt give me blisters or anything. for the first time! i love those shoes. wil be wearing them quite often. haha. oh but they're white. and someone brought their drink to the dance floor and we were jumping and stuff and he spilled some of his drink and it went over my feet and shoes :( so its a bit dirty.

lazy to write v much. :) supposed to take a short nap just now at 5 when i decided to turn on my comp to upload pictures.. and ive been on till now (7:20) sooo i guess i wont be sleeping after all. im dead tired tho. slept at 6:45am this morning. ahh sleepy....

- deciding what time i should go to school tmrw cuz if i go too early they might not be ther yet if i go after they might want to leave right after exams and no point going anyway.

- get teachers cards? or maybe id just forget about that. cuz that means i need to go into school another day again. but thers some teachers i really want to write something to...
- clear up my room. i just got told off again for being so messy. (but really, its my room. if they want to come in then they need to tolerate it. no one made them come in)
- go to another soundcheck on weds at 10am...

so thats 2 more to the already long list, but that will be done after graduation. :)

and after that i need to figure out wth im gonna be doing for the next few months.

at least not until graduation.

list of things to do:
1) get a guitar case! and buy a pick/plectrum(?) even though i dont use it. i just want one. i want a pink one. :)

2) practice with swati. we desperately need practice. last night proved how much i suck and i cannot play like that in front of a thousand people. (is it practice or practise??)

3) get an appointment with hairdresser for graduation.

4) get an appointment with the optic shop and and actually go and get my contact lenses trial thingies on monday. i need at least 2 days if i want to get used to them for grad i think...

5) finish off leaving pages for people who asked me to do them. i had 5. started 3, need to do 2 more.

6) buy cards or make them... and write something in them- ONLY for some teachers whom i appreciate.

7) go to school on tuesday to get my interscol signed and empty my locker and hand back the completed leaving pages to the ppl who asked me to do them and get my little book back from jo...

8) decide if im going to the afterparty...

all that before graduation.

crap. thats a lot of things to do.

Tonight was different. sorta fun but well, it would help if i knew what ppl were talking about half of the time =S im always so blur laa...
went out with adam, elysia, dom, stefan, helen, martina, and swati who had to leave early... then erica came and brought melissa with her. and marty and i left. we caught the last mrt. we felt so lucky :) haha
i dont think ill be doing that very often. too expensive. haha. i dont get how sum ppl do that every weekend...

wow.
its really over.
it feels strange.

yesterday was very fun.
- i finished a relatively easy chem paper (which is pretty worrying cuz then the entire average is probably gonna be pretty high and the chances of getting a 7 is reduced... ah. im so kiasu all of a sudden. o.O maybe ive been here for too long. haha)ok. so then i returned books etc yadda yadda..
-at 11 went to watch the da vinci code with ritz, stitch and kat. (with a biscuit, an alien and a cat. haha :P) anyway. that movie was pretty freaky. yea. but i didnt have any expectations or anything since ive never read the book and i thought it was pretty good :)
-had a headache so went home after that and slept. (which was not fun. but it helped keep me awake for the next thing i did....)
-woke up and then packed my stuff for sleepover at swati's
-watched 2 movies, guitared, and talked loads at swati's and did strange fortune telling thingies about some people which was very funny.. and finally slept at 6:30am. haha

so anyway. got home today after lunch and attempted at writing out the piano score for 'sometimes i just go for it' by the Used dom sent to me sometime ago and he said he would find the piano score for me or something but he never did...
i got to about 40 seconds (the song is about 4:45) and sorta stopped cuz that took me ages to do and it just gets confusing-er from there. but i will continue another day. :)

now im gona go shower cuz im going out again tonight :)
im feeling very jolly happy. hahaha

french is over.

i messed up french big time. my paper 2 that is. i thought p1 was pretty ok. p2 exam was very interesting tho. the invigulator's cellphone went off first... so they got rid of that... then a few minutes later- the power went off. haha. ppl were laughing and stuff. it was strange. so anyway. the invigulators noticed a window so they got a ladder out of one of the stores (which i never knew was there) and opened the curtains.. and we all had to move towards the windows. it was strange considering we had to do this in complete silence. :)
oh and at the end of the exam, i realised (after asking around) that i completely misuderstood the question and thereofre my essay is on a different topic. which is NOT GOOD. but i hope that they dont take many points off cuz its out of 30 and 10 points out of that is the contents marks. the other 10 is grammar ( i think i did relaly well!! ><) and the other 10 im not so sure. so i could get at lesat 10 points still! ah. this is not good.
but i still want a 6 in french. :(

i'm getting bored of revision. maybe its just french. i got bored of french yesterday and switched to math and did just fine. :) i mean, i did revise. when i was doing french i was messing around a lot doodling and stuff and didnt get much done. but for now i know how to write verbs in
present, futur, passe compose, imparfait, plus que parfait('had done' - imperfect auxiliary + past tense verb) , subjonctif (take the 'ils' form of the verb as the stem and use the different endings: e, es, e, ions, iez, ent), and something else which i cant remmeber the name of... but its like... the future stem and imperfect endings, and the past tense form of that is when the auxiliary is written as that, and the verb is in passe compose. please let me get that right... i need to go check. ok. its called conditional, and conditional past. and i did get it right. :) its used when constructing a sentence which starts with 'si'. there are 3 types:
present... future
imparfait... conditional
plus que parfait... conditional past
i need to learn the irregular verbs... and VOCAB. my vocab is so limited... i dont know if i start learning them now itll be enough to understand stuff on friday, and to be able to write a good essay... i need a 6 in french. well i want a 6. i cant aim any higher than that i guess since i messed up my oral exam pretty badly. enough about french. -end-

tell u something quite silly. i was in the library yestereday right? and this guy next to me had chocolates... so i really wanted chocs too! so i decided to go out and get some.. cuz theres a 7-11 across the road. so i went out and got my chocolates... and when i came out of the shop- it started raining. really heavily. but i had to get back to the library! so well.. yeah., i sorta ran and got pretty wet.. and in the middle of running my slippers came off so i had to turn around and go get them again and it was all very embarassing... and i had to go back to my seat wet... o, and i was sitting on the inside of the room this time, as far as u could get from the door, so i had to walk through the whole room...
all of that for chocolates.


greaduation dinner preparation:
got my dress, and accesssories, and now.. i got my shoes! its nothing like what i had in mind initially... but after looking everywhere for something i want, i realised i need to be a bit more flexible. nonetheless i love the ones i got and i think its v cute. :) its not extremely high but ill be about 8cm taller. hahaha.
i think im going to be very white for graduation tho. not something i planned...
anyway. like azusa said, i think we're more prepared for graduation than we are for the exams...^^

ive been doing quite a bit of SUDOKU these few nights. its a bit sad.... anyway. guess what? isnt sudoku in a way a group? (math p3 stuff) its only missing an operation... i mean, k. if 1 is the identity, then 1 appears in every row and every column so every element has an inverse. so theres identity, an inverse, and its closed. well, without an operation, then thers no such thing as associativity is there? hahaha.

i need to get a life.

i am such a pig.
i came home early today after my final english p2 exam (YES!! NO MORE ENLGISH LIT FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!!) and after returning all my bio, geog, and english books (so satisfying... well except for the bio books bit. that was a bit sad :( ) so by 11:15 or so i was home.. and i was hungry. so i made myself lunch.(2 sausages and 2 slices of bread with butter, toasted. not the healthiest) then i had chocolate (i was rumaging around the fridge forever trying to find some. mum suggested an apple instead, but i found them at last so instead of an apple, i had chocolate...) at around 12, i was sitting on the couch doing nothing, and i was very sleepy. so i decided to take a short nap- in my room. bad idea. cuz my bed is too comfy. :) so anyway. this 'short nap' turned out to be a 4 hours sleep. 4 hours. right after my not-so-healthy meal for lunch. so anyway. i woke up at 4. and i decided to do the dusting that my mum asked me to do at 12... and now i'm here. sort of in shock about what just happened. i really didnt plan to sleep so much. tomorrow i will wake up early. ah. how many times have i said that!??!

im going crazy!!
ive been home the entire day. i've done nothing. tried working on my bed, but ended up falling asleep. my study table is too messy to work on. bro currently having tuition in the back room. so im in my room. and ive done NOTHING. but u see... its english. its very.. subjective. but no reason why i shouldnt do at least a bit more revision. i got so much notes.. i went to revision sessions etc. so i should make use of them and maybe get my brain thinking about the plays and know them pretty well before tomorrow. i think if i do that tonight i wont be able to sleep at night again. but then if im not able to sleep i can blame that on excessive sleeping during the day too.
i think im blogging too much. but then thers nothing else to do. 1)piano 2) guitar 3) blog 4) revision. so... yeah. toomuch of 1 2 and 3. should do a bit more of 4. or i could go exercise. hahaha. yea right.

oh guess what.
i planned to go to the queenstown library today. took a bus down (bus ride was only about 3 mins. its 3 bus stops away) but to get to the lib i had to walk about 10 mins. well probbaly less if u walk really fast. anyway. so i got to the library and guess what? its closed! so i decided to go to a different library. since i was there, it was easy to get on an mrt and go to jurong or something. the jurong lib is nice. i could see the mrt line, but i didnt know where the nearest station was. i could have taken any bus that goes down that road (which runs parallel with the mrt line) and get off where the mrt station is. but i decided to walk instead. so i walked... and it was a pretty long walk! and yeah... when i finally got to the mrt station i realised: if one library wasnt open because today's a public holiday (because today's voting day...) then all the other libraries would be closed too! so instead of getting on a train, i crossed over to the other side of the road, and waited for a bus instead. the walk all together was about 30 mins long. i wanted to get a bus to go to Holland v instead. i had to wait 15 mins for the bus. but 196 came by 3 times! and 105, the bus that i waited 20 mins for before (after piano lessons) came by twice. well anyway. the bus finally came and i went to holland v to study instead. went to starbucks. since i havent been ther in a while... i was getting my drink when all of a sudden this voice spoke behind me "do you come here often?" so i turned and it was melissa! so anyway. i said hi and i said no i dont. and she was already going home since she was there the entire morning. and iw as just arriving. aah i felt so bad that she was there the entire morning. cuz this uh.. 'morning' i got up at 12.
anyway. in starbucks.. i was sitting on the sofa... reading my english stuff... then all of a sudden the sofa started vibrating! so i thought it was my phone and checked my phone and there was nothing going on. then my chair vibrated again! so i searched around for a phone of some sort and found one in the side of the sofa... its one of those thin motorola ones... so i answered it and the guy on the other side was like "Hi i left my phone somewhere.. where is my hpone??
hahaha. so anyway. i told him its in starbucks. and he asked if i could leave it with the staff so being such a nice person, i did. :) oh and when the staff came to clear up the table and i passed the phone to her, she said "you're so nice!" haha.
so anyway. at the end of the day i did get work done (read through 2 plays and took note of some quotes i should know) :)
i should stop now. its getting a bit long and boring.

she thinks i should delete it in case he finds his way here. but i doubt he would. plus i dont want to delete my post... theres no point having a blog if its all happy cheery i love everyone everytime. plus im no longer anoyed at him anyway.

counting exam seatings, ive done 7. 5 more to go. :)

This week has been extremely exhausting. I guess so far the worst paper ive done is my bio paper 2 yesterday. about an hour into an exam i got myself a really bad headache. plus i couldnt answer an entire section (they gave us this electron microscope photograph and made us lable to what they're pointing to. and it wasnt a normal cell it was osmething like... pancreatic islet something....) so anyway. i felt like puking halfway through probably cause of a combination of lack of sleep, extreme headache and frustration for not knowing much in the whole section. anyway. i sorta whizzed through the rest of the paper and tried to close my eyes to stop the friggin pain. um yea. so that was my bio paper. didnt go so well. Today's bio paper was SO much better! i love the questions :) just as i loved the first question(only the first.. and sort of the second. but nothing else!) from geography(about drainage basins...) so overall, i can probably kiss a 7 goodbye, but i guess 6 isnt too bad...
Math was a lot better. i guess all that hours and hours of revision really paid off. if i got everything i did right on p1 i might make it over 75% :) compared to the failing grade i was getting during the mocks, thats very good. oh, and i might also pass paper 2. haha. pass....
english was good too. i liked the poem and the prose they gave. i did the poem. it was all good. i think i wrote a lot more than my usual english papers. (i cant really tell cuz they give us official exam paper to write on with very large spaces between lines... )

its so strange to think i'll never do geography ever again. i mean, ifi really go on and do pharmacy (which i most probabaly wil cuz if not i have NO CLUE what else id be doing) then i would never have to worry about geography! bio.. i guess i will be doing a bit of bio. :) i'll miss bio class tho. i like bio. :) in a strange way, i actually enjoyed my bio revision last night. The 2 option units were pretty straight forward stuff. sort of just need to memorise lots. haha. but its satisfying to be able to describe entire processes of things that go on the body from the top of your head! after effective revision that is. so i was glad that the revision paid off and p3 was good. :)

After paper 3 bio this morning i went to jurong point with swati and dom for lunch and a movie. i havent been to the movies for a very long time. i think. i dont remember the last movie i watched. anyway. today we wtached MI:3. it was good. i think i deserve a little break after this week. :) dont worry tho i will resume revision mode tomorrow. might drag myself out of bed early and head to the library.

so anyway. now im home and i feel like sleeping. its already 6. i could sleep til 8? :)
