I know its very very late and i should be sleeeping. but i havent blogged in a while, and i got a few pictures i feel like posting.
i just got home from Penang. plane landed at around 10:30pm. went there for cheng beng. something i don't remember doing before. so anyway. we got there on friday night. got up on saturday morning at 6 to go to the first graveyard. its a pretty amazing sight. So many colors and people at the graveyard. :) and there were so many people around...

So anyway. what we did there was... went there cleared up all the weeds and plants growing on it, then placed out food etc and yellow and white papers all over the grave and then we prayed and waited till they 'finish eating' the food (indicated by coins- when you throw 2 coins and if both lands open on the same side then they're finished. or something like that. i'm not sure how it really works...) and then when they're done we clear up the food and we're done.

all cleared after some hard work :)

mum said that's the guard house to guard the grave :)
Pa wanted me to go to the second place on saturday but i managed to get away from going there. we had to buy presents for cousins (xing and jian) for their birthday dinner that night. so i got to go shopping instead! (yay! and on that day i saw this perfect shoes for my grad at Vincci. but it didnt fit very well. so sad! i'll need to find something in singpore i guess) but anyway. here's a pic of the place i didnt go to. its my great-great-great-grandfather's if im not wrong. thats what my bro said anyway. and he went so he should know better.


on sun night we went for steamboat for my ah ma's birthday.

i wonder when i'll get to play in another band... or if i'll have the chance at all!

now i should get some sleep so i can work on math tomorrow. :(
