i want to post another blog entry but i dont know what to write about...

i had a sleepover at ritika's house on friday-sat. :) we had dinner on the beach at east coast (the beach cannot beat kuantan's TC but still... at least there was slight waves and a breeze unlike Sentosa beach...) then we had gelato and we saw this girl with a gazillion piercings on her face and colorful strands braided in her hair. cool hair (but id never do that... (: ) but the piercings? Ugh...
then we went back to Ritzys house and we went to the jacuzzi pool place and sat and talked till we got all wrinkly from the water and looked like prunes... then we went back to her house. watched 'what a girl wants' and did lots of talking and played funny games. haha. anyway. in the end swati and i talked till about 7am (sheila and ritz retired slightly earlier...) when we turned off the room lights outside was already getting bright. :)

im dreading the end of august. once august ends loads of people will be gone. then when september ends even MORE people will be gone. and by the end of october the only people i can think of who will still be here are wanda(in uni), mjelva(in ns), dominic(fellow aussi uni go-er) and shobana(also in uni).

I had the strangest dream last night. It involved a strange mall, some friends, some people from school, some strangers which i was strangely friends with, and a situation where the guys were waiting for the girls in the cybercafe.

I don't remember very much, but i know Sheila was in the cybercafe. Ritika might have been with her. And there was also a few other stranger friends in there. all girls...(i dont think they were playing games though) I was outside with other stranger friends of mine. One of them somehow knew how to read korean as well. outside one of the shops was some korean word me and him were trying to figure out. then i decided to go look for the girls in the cybercafe. That was surprisingly hard to do. i ended up walking all around and i couldnt find the place. and the mall suddenly changed into a 1 storey building and i was outside instead of walking down corridors of the mall... On the other side there was like... a massage parlour or something. so realised i was pretty far from the cybercafe and tried to run back but as usual, in your dream its IMPOSSIBLE to run. so it took me forever to get anywhere... and then i bumped into Brigitte! and um... it was either Yuka or Ellie one of the english class people. That was SO random. i think i talked to them for a bit. then something happened and i wasnt sleeping anymore and i forgot about it for a while... until i realised- it was a strange dream!

um... yeah... end of story...

Hi I'm back in Singapore again.

Kuantan was okay. I spent most of my time eating and watching tv while trying to complete the daily Sudoku in the newspaper. After 4 days of boredom, my friends finally found time to go out for a while. We took a stroll down the beach to the end where there was hardly anyone except for the occasional jogger hardworking enough to go all the way. There we sat and talked about anything and everything till the sun was about to set. Then we had McD's for dinner. haha. :)
I love the beach in Kuantan. Not only because of the wind and sand (the sea can get a bit dangerous esp during monsoon...) but because of the memories. I've blown bubbles there, flew kites, had a farewell party, made sandcastles, had coconuts thrown at us by sum crazy man, lived in the hotel by the beach for about 2 weeks when we first arrived in Kuantan (when we lived there about 6 years ago), and my did my extended essay research there. and got a C. but i wont go into that. :)

Amy's gone. and that sucks. Our plan to go to Kbox for the final time got cancelled(and i don wanna go into that either cuz its pretty depressing) so now i dono who i can go karaokeing with. i dont know much chinese... and dont know who is willing to sit and sing with me. haha. ooh wait. there's swati :P

NUS rejected me. Which means i got 6 months during which i have time to get a job (Nooo..) get my drivers license, and try not to be too bored after everyone else has gone off to uni. Right now it looks like i'm going to Adelaide. Cuz ive talked to Marian who's currently studying there and it sounds quite nice. they got nice beaches apparently. haha. :) and thats the only uni that i've been accepted to. i havent applied to the other 2 unis. haha. so to save the trouble of applying to the unis, i think ill just go to adelaide. Not only that, if i apply to the other 2 and i somehow get accepted, then i have to choose! ah horror! :P cuz i dont have any preference right? and i really dont care where i go. so if i got all 3 unis then ill have to choose and i really dont know how to choose. so better stick with one. my parents said ok. so... end of story. Adelaide- here i come! (in february)

So. The IB results are finally out. All of a sudden everything sorta changes. There's something new to look forward to or for some people there's nothing to look forward to yet...
I've sent in my results to NUS. Now my application status on the website says "application processing". I'll find out in a week or two. Don't even know if i want to go there. Guess what? If i DO get in, orientation is usually on the first week of August. That's in... *looks at calendar* 4 weeks. If not then ill wait for Monash and Curtin and see what they say. And i will have to get a job and find something to do to keep me busy for the next 6 months.

By the way, I dont like my blog entries (or any writing) to be read out loud, especially in front of people. So, YOU- Be nice, please dont do that again.

Its like english class. i hate it when the teacher asks me to read out my writing. May sound kindof stupid, but thats one of the reasons why i dont like english and i tend to dread english lessons especialy after we've had a short writing assignment. ANYWAY, i did good in english and i'll never have to go to another english class in my life so i should stop talking about english. :) I should write to Mr.Bev.

About my results... I predicted 2 grades for each subject. when the results came out, 3 was the higherpredicted grade, 3 was the lower grade. and my EE and TOK turned out pretty shitty. so, im not ecstatically happy, nor am i extremely sad.

Lots of people seem to have done really well and we're mostly all happy about everything so... to the class of 2006 (or more like the few 2006 ppl who come here...^^ ) Congratulations!

another one of those 'here's what i did' entry...

hi! im back in singapore again.
the past two days have been extremely boring.
got back on friday night.
on saturday i went out and had some coffee with amy cuz other people couldnt come (kinda sad we called about 3 other people and turned out to be just amy and i...). so then since amy's leaving in about two weeks and she doesnt usually meet up with abu and her ex-neighbour anyway, we called up abu (mjelva) and her ex neighbour(adam). so i thought it was just gonna be us 4 for dinner. then later erica and renet(who i havent seen since she went to SAS i think!) showed up. so dinner ended up being 6 instead of 4 people. dom was supposed to show up at 7:30-8 somewhere there, after our dinner at pastamania. Amy and Renet had to go and buy something so them 2, and erica went off to taka. i stayed with mjelva and adam cuz there was no point of me going to taka. and we ended up playing pool, me thinking that dom would show up soon. we played till about 8:50 and decided to stop. dom showed up at about 9 but then he was gonna watch a movie at 9:15. also only at about 9 did the rest of the girls show up again. so we all got together for about 5 mins and then everyone left. i was home by 9:30.
i dont really know what was the point of that. but for some reason i was feeling rather depressed after that. anyway. at 11pm was England vs. portugal and watching that with my whole family and making lots of noise sorta cheered me up a lot.
the past two days (sunday and today) ive spent doing absolutely nothing. almost. i played some music, helped clean the house a bit, organised my photos that i printed out sometime ago. and thats about it.
kinda sux that so many peple are either gone already, away for hols, or working. without them it leaves me very few to call for a day out or something. so ive been home.
o guess what. im going to msia again. to kuantan this time so should be more fun. the prob is my friends will be having exams few days after i get back. i hope by now theyve learnt that exams arent everything and they will be willing to spend some weekdays out... haha. :P
