Back from Bali
ooh alliteration. unintentionally tho... really. :)
Bali was fun. sort of. lots of time was spent sitting in the car because we ended up seeing the whole of Bali island (almost). and i had a headace for 4 out of 5 days we were there. it was so stupid. anyway... i cant think of how to make this interesting and im also kinda lazy so ill write a list
I...
-went surfing and bodyboarding. woke up the next day with every muscle in my body aching. but it was worth it. surfing is fun. i wanna go again some other time...
-saw a volcano. dormant. but it was beautiful!
-was up on one of the mountains sides and all of a sudden there was water. for a second or two i thought it was the sea. aha. but they were lakes. and it was pretty cool. we couldnt see very far since the fog was so thick. and it was cold... actually it was hardly ever warm the whole time we were in bali.
-went to a waterfall and was followed around by kids trying to sell us necklaces and stuff and ended up buying some cuz they were only 1000rupiah each which is about 20cents in spore...
-saw temples. but it rained, so didnt see much of it.
-saw silver smithing
-saw how they made their coffee and cocoa
-saw woodcarving
-went shopping and had to do lots of bargaining which i suck at.
-ate a lot: buffet breakfast everyday and nice restaurant meals...
-had an outdoor bathroom in one resort. very nice but a bit scary cuz the villa was next to a river and sorta foresty area so thers lots of insects. there was insects in the room and on our bed constantly... i was kindof glad when we checked out of there even though that was the more expensive resort...
-got a bruise from trying to get into the room cuz the door had a praying mantis on it so i sorta dashed in and i hit the door really hard.. cuz i missed (stupid...) and ta-da! bruise...
-was followed and begged by people to buy their stuff as souvenirs. they crowded around us so much it was hard to close the car door.
-got lots of mosquito bites
-saw monkeys and got a bit worried about them stealing our stuff
-got a henna tattoo on myback. i love it.. i might put a pic up... :)
thats all i can thin kof for now. but it was a lot done in 5 days...
im going to msia tmrw morning. v early.... will be back on friday or saturday. i dont really wanna go. theres nothing to do there. and i cant drive so im basically stuck at wherever i am until someone can drive me somewhere. i like spore cuz u can just take the bus/mrt anywhere.
see u guys whoever is in spore when i get back again.

theres 2 birds building a nest in our balcony. small pretty yellow-greeny birds. :) i cant wait till the nest is done and theres little birdies... haha. they're working so hard they didnt even notice seeds that we put out for them.... sunflower and flax seeds. i would eat them if they dont want to...
hopefully they'll stay for a while... its like having pet birds that aren't caged up. :)

like it?
thats my computer. :)
i got sticker paper leftover from Shobana's DT project.. took them cuz it looked useful.haha. :) i found them when going through my geo notes to throw away stuff. so i looked up designs online (cuz i tried drawing something and failed miserably.) and found that.
i got the design from here. i feel like i need to mention it somewhere cuz its not my work and i need to credit someone... but dont know who exactly designed it since there was no name. (whoever it was he/she had a lot other nice designs too and theyre good!)

today i was at...
-borders
-starbucks at the old 'hello' singtel building
-heerin shops
-suntec city (for a few seconds to grab a balloon which i later accidentally popped and scared myself -.-)
-marina square ( is that what its called?)
-Bugis junction
-sum other building at bugis... sorta new. dont remember what its called.
sort of went around to quite a few hangout places... surprisingly we didnt even get close to cineleisure!
i watched the opening match between germany and costa rica last night. it was surprisingly very intersting! my dad fell asleep tho... so pretty much watched it alone. haha. it was a good match. i think if less goals were scored i would have been bored too(there was 6 goals. 4-2) but it was good. and i plan to watch more matches! haha... rather strange since i dont usually watch football (i almost wrote soccer... but knowing some ppl i think should write football...) and i dont like playing football cuz i SUCK at it and the flying ball sorta freaks me out. so yea. i guess i only watch football once every 4 years. haha. um yea. im confused about the offside rule which dad tried explaining.

was at ritika's house yesterday. i took the mrt there and bus back :) proud of myself. hahaha. i found my way to east coast! (with help... but still! um... yea. i know it probably isnt very far away but ive never realy been there myself before.) watched movies, talked, had lunch and just sorta did nothing. haha. fun :)
went to OG with mum for a while (theres so so many pretty dresses there... too bad i dont wear dresses except for very formal dinners which are very very rare.) then went to Chinatown. found out theres loads of beads shops at peoples park center. and theres pretty hair stuff that i wanna get but i need to go with someone else cuz its like.. 3 for $10 or something. -Jie come with me when u get back! we need to go shopping :) and exercise. haha.
apart from that its been rather depressing. i need to wake up earlier. and i need to get started on clearing up my notes and suff. i planned that today but ended up going out with mum instead. didnt really want to go but she asked me to! so yeah...

My horoscope for today:
The Bottom Line:
By this point, if you don't understand how someone truly feels, you must ask them.
In Detail:
Just because you've been close to someone for years doesn't mean you know them like the back of your hand. There are new depths to explore in your relationship. If you can't understanding their actions or changes, you must ask them. Open up communications. You will both turn a corner together, and what lies ahead of you is a lifetime of adventures and joy. Let this positivism buoy you in other areas of you life. Even at work, you can create a bright future by talking more honestly.
wow i never knew positivism was a word.

I'm so bored.
i shouldnt be on the computer since there's nothing to do here. but its either this or i be in my room trying to clear up my mess or something... which i dont want to do.
so here i am. and im just gonna go on and on about what ive done and stuff... so this will be boring.
i went to plaza sing today. watched over the hedge with sheila and ritika. it was very cute and sorta funny. :) i love hammie. and the little porcupines, or whatever they are. i shared a double chocolate gelato with ritz. it was GOOD. oh and after dinner just now i had more ice cream. (i actually wrote 'ice scream' first then changed it. a bit strange...)
out of the blue my bro was saying how he wants to be a bartender. last night he offered to make me and my mum cocktails. so he me a 'mudslide' or something. its a mix of vodka, kahlua, and baileys. according to him. it didnt taste like super duper good or anything but it was drinkable. so i finished it. haha. my mum got 'white russian'.
i might go apply for a job somewhere tomorrow... i dont really want to tho... i like my holiday. plus that job just doesnt sound very appealing.
in the last 2 days i washed...
the bathroom, the car, my grad dress (yea only now... ive been lazy and forgetful.), my grad shoes (cuz someone spilled drink over it), and as usual- the dishes. haha... SO i have actually been doing things. :) the hols isnt a complete waste of time.
i need to sort out my schedule for the rest of the summer hols. i need to find out when school ends for my bro (so i know when i shuold go into school if i am...), when my sis is coming, when we're going on hols, when everyone is leaving (for hols and for real) and all that. right now im just pretty lost and confused and living everyday as it comes. kinda hard to make any plans when i dont know whats happening.
i think this is long enough. till next time... goodnight!
