I could write.
And not just WRITE like what I'm doing now. I wish I can write things that would have interest to people. Things that may provoke thought, or make one reflect upon oneself or others.
Unfortunately I can't. So I better stop here before this post becomes more of a joke than a regular failed attempt.

Blur... like sotong.
I need to get my gear in place. I keep on messing up!
But then again, it's a friday, and there's only 1 more week to go before our mid-semester break! i can catch up then. 2 weeks... i should be able to put away some time for revision.
i came to practical today on time! (at least that's what i thought) i was actually early, so i waited in The Caf having my lunch until it was time for class. But when i showed up at prac- there was like um... 4 people there. And then one of them remembered Helen Stone's email- Pracs on the 4th April will start at 2:00pm instead of 1:00pm as scheduled. Experiments start at 1:30.
Darn.
So now i have an hour to wait for my class to start because i'm doing a practical.
i think i'm going home. i left my phone at home (my brother took it from me this morning and i forgot to take it back...)
So, im leaving. And i'll be back in about 45 mins time....
i love living so close to uni :)

temperature extremes
When I left my house this morning at 8am it was 11degC. When i went home at 12:30pm, it was 25degC.
Today's temperature hit a low at 10.5degC at 7:30am and a high of 26.5degC at 3pm. That's a difference of 16degC in 8 hours. I'm amazed.
It is currently 23degC. The temperature forecast for tomorrow is: low of 15, high of 17. ONLY 2 degC difference??? ARE YOU SERIOUS??
Well, we shall find out.

Why them not us?
I read through some 'famous blogs' recently like Kennysia and Dawn Yang. We all know who they are... they're famous because of their blogs!
So what makes their blogs different from ours? I'm not here to give you that answer, i'm just here to discuss what the possibilities may be. So if you're looking for answers, you're in the wrong place.
Kennysia is hillarious. He writes about pretty much everything- personal life, national news, events.... and he makes everything entertaining to read. He's also got pictures. Lots of them. I think pictures is what brings people to a blog. For that reason my blog is an uninhabited forrest... not even the birds fly by to look for fruits. (that's such a random analogy) Anyway, so kennysia isnt the most good looking guy or someone with an amazing body. But the fact that he's not afraid to expose everything about himself (and he seems like a pretty interesting person) makes people go back to his blog again and again and again... I go there just for some laughs.
Dawn yang... well. She's got heaps of pictures of herself. Of course that's perfectly fine cuz she's pretty and all that. (Imagine all of us did that in our blogs. I think some of us would chase people away and give them horrible nightmares...) With all the fancily photoshopped pictures with fancy borders and bakcgrounds etc etc. even pictures of her crying looks like its taken in a studio (yes, she has a picture of her crying. and even in that state she's pretty). But to be completely honest, I haven't read her blog enough to find out what she writes about or whether she's a good writer or what else brings people to her blog apart from those pictures...
What i DO know however, is that the more famous you are, the more people visit your blog. They somehow managed to become 'famous' by blogging, and for that reason, people are now reading their blog because they're 'famous' and because they're 'famous' they get to attend events for 'famous' people which lets them blog about famous people things which makes their blog posts even more interesting and therefore drawing even more people there. It's like an exponential dominoes effect. With a slow start...
Then again, i've only visited kennysia's blog about 3-4 times now and ive only been to dawn's site maybe a couple of times. So I dont know these bloggers here as well as lots of other people do. What i've written is just my first impression of their blogs.
I was going to do some research on their blogs before trying to come up with something to say on my blog, but kennysia decided to declare that he's going to STOP BLOGGING FOREVER from today. So i can't really acess his blog...
Then again, its april fool's day and you can't trust everything you read.
(and I'm just lazy to go to dawn yang's site... :P)
... that concludes another episode of my procrastination.
Maybe I really should study biochem now. I'm on lecture 2. i have about 8 lectures i think... to go through and learn by thursday. i have work later today. So i better study. study study study.
Or maybe i could start uploding pictures and writing about intelligent, interesting things and stop being depressing on my blog so people start reading my blog and I can be a famous blogger and I'd get paid to advertise on my blog and I can quit uni! That's an idea...
ok. enough. go.

Ugh.
I hate you. I hate you. I hate you.
I have a LONG day ahead and I woke up earlier to get a good start. But you had to go screw up my morning.
Damn you.

Blogging mood over...?
You might have to wait a month or more for another long string of blog entries.
then again, i might surprise myself and blog everyday again just to waste time.
I've got nothing intelligent to say. Or nothing to ramble about, but i will find something to write anyway.
...
Our MySA president wants to treat our ECs a lunch for their hard work in panning the GC trip. No doubt the ECs spent a lot of time doing research for the trip. But the thing is- the trip isn't going to happen. No one is going to GC and thus all the work has been rather pointless. (But not completely... of course we can always go to GC ourselves and all the previous research done would be very useful.) Anyway, my point is... why treat now when technically nothing has been done and there's nothing to rejoice about? why not wait until we have actually succesfully planned, and carried out a planned activity- wouldn't that be a better reason to treat the ECs? Imagine the lunch: "Lets make a toast- to the hard work of the ECs. Unfortunately this event did not happen and it also lead to a massive argument between committee members." Yes. lets rejoice.
It doesn't make sense to me to treat them to lunch now when we are still thinking of what we can do in place of the GC trip. i.e. its not over yet. Unless mr president is planning to treat them for every event we do. I don't think so. (No offence to EC's though, i believe you guys deserve something in return for all that time spent on research.)
Hm. so much for 'nothing to write about'- see, when i sit here, things come to mind. Therefore maybe i should sit here more often. I Do have things to write about.... =S ON the other hand, i shouldn't sit here because tha tmeans i would spend time writing and that's not good. ive got 2 tests coming up this week which i am not yet ready for. And work. And a couple of dinners (And maybe a lunch) and im still behind on being up to date with normal lectures (Pharmaceutics..... grrr...)
I want it to be warm. I want to go to the beach. I want to sit on the sand, feel the wind blowing, stare out into the sea, and watch the sunset. Because the sunset at Henley is gorgeous.

To: 'You'
I dont feel like going anymore...
I can get a flightthere for $119. why would i pay $199 just because we have to wait for confirmation of others before we buy our tickets. Think of how much i can do with $80. Oh, make that $160 because if i go there, i need to come back.
Not everyone is like you. You don't understand the things some of us go through to confirm a holiday like this. It's not about the effort it takes to get approval from parents. It's the guilt and thoughts that go through my head when i ask for something this big. What have i done to deserve it? I would take any chance i have to save just a few dollars more if it's possible. And if i can plan this trip another time, and book tickets months ahead and save some cash- i would rather do that than to go on this less than succesful trip with a handful of people i dont really know. And for something like this, i need the anticipation. I need to plan ahead what i need to do. I can't still be unsure of it a couple of weeks before i'm supposed to go. Heck, i dont even have a right suitcase for this holiday. Is it too late to change my mind?
I know how much effort some of you have put into planning this trip, but i really don't think it will work. Sorry for being so negative. I'm just trying to be sensible.
