ooh ive been a (sorta) good girl... :)
ive done some revision.
finished 3 units of bio and been doing lots of math, but still very crappy at it. but yeah.. i think im gonna do another bio unit tonight. a small one. plant science. (NOT including photosynthesis n stuff like that cuz that stuff goes on and on forever!)

i tried a gazillion dresses today! well not really. a few. but at least i know what i want now. theres that one dress that im going to get. and its the first dress i tried (on saturday night). haha. its strange how its the first dress thats always right... for my grade 10 formal, i tried on a dress when my sister went to get a graduation dress. i went back and got the exact same one that i tried. =)
i think im gonna be a bit too casual compared to other ppl. but whatever.

i met ekaterina yesterday. we went to get a drink and took sticker pics and just walked aorund cine and heerin. :) she's sorta the same ekat but different in a way. does that make any sense? ... i dont know what to say about her.

i tried on this really nice dress today in taka. i tried 2 really nice dresses actually. they're white and pretty. one's got a flower and the other one has a ribbon. but both very cute. but i look fatter on one than the other. haha. but then again i tried them on right after a huge dinner... >< size="1"> (oh btw hl, im gonna change my target weight! ttyl about that later...) i'll look okay in either one? :) im so excited! i wanna go buy a dress for grad!!!! and then theres shoes shopping, and bag, and accessories.... fun! :) retail therapy.... hahaha. as if im stressed out. -_- i havent even started serious revision. will start tomorrow!

about losing weight.. ok im NOT doing A LOT about it... but im dong Something. 1) im trying not to over eat... (parents bought a lot for diner today. i gave a bit of my noodles to my bro, and ate only a teenie weenie bit of ice kacang. then there was siew mai which i only ate HALF of altho it was really good and my parents were asking me to eat the last one etc.) yeah. and 2) i went swimming today. 60 laps of the little pool at our apartment... pretty good eh? haha. i mean, i havent been to the pool for months! its a good start. i think i work out more if i go for a walk or jog to the botanic gardens and back tho.

as sheila pointed out, tmrw IS Our last friday chem lesson! which means its also my last friday morning math (YES!!) and last friday 7/8 bio and last 5/6 free. :( i like that 5/6 free which used to be my TOK. 5/6 frees are cool. u get to get lunch early and beat the queue!

Cikgu Arbiknah from MGPS primary 5. I loved her. I think I wrote her a poem for teachers day once. And she bought me a pen before I left the school. She’s the funnest local school teacher we had.
Now come to think of it, there are quite a few other teachers id like to name. from MGPS: cigku maziah(my primary 6 BM teacher, and who also happened to be my sis’s teacher when she was in pri.6); SFS: mr myong (my science teacher who got me interested in chem.), Mr Relyea (who made me enjoy history…); UWC: Mr Tranter (my gcse music teacher who’s just so cool! Hahaha :P and he got me into Cabaret!) , Dr Price (I really appreciate how he gets me to talk to him about how im doing with my studies and him being concerned about Math. I wish he had fired mr fensom tho… haha. Im sure he had the authority.)

Strange mood swings today…

I've been describing this to many people. i'm going to explain here once again though. because when ppl ask when my exams are i say May. and they seem to think its a long way away and that i shouldnt be feeling so guilty for beingonline. i really am guilty but i cant tear myself away from the internet. heheh. so anyway. here goes.. my last 6 weeks before the exam.....
1 week of school
2 weeks of holiday(during which i will be in Penang for 5 days)
1 week of school(minus friday because friday is good friday and its a holiday. wow. i just said friday 4 times in a row)
1 week of school, but pretty messedup cuz its leavers week. i wonder how much work we'll actualy be doing. and thursday is awards assembly. and thats our LAST DAY of school.

I went to the rockshow on friday night with Ritz, Swati and Dom. it was okay... the acoustic bands got really boring... but overall i guess they were pretty good. i wish i had brought my camera. its gonna be the last rockshow i go to in UWC. and i think the rockshows here are pretty good! and amusing to watch... the way they dress, and play, and their bobbing heads... and the performance overall.

Ekaterina is in Singapore!! I was online earlier on.. and then ekat came online and on her msn nick was 'i'm in singapore'. iwas like. WHOA! KAT'S IN SPORE! so yeah. i talked to her a bit then went offline cuz ive been online a long time already (talking to malcolm, doreen, my sis, and yi jieh (who hasnt showed up for AGES! and just finished NS about a week ago...)) so then i smsed Amy and told her. haha. somehow im quite excited....
i mean, after i left SFS i never really talked to Kat. she went off to gordonstoun and hardly came online and we dont send emails. anyway. when i left SFS i was quite annoyed at her for several reasons... but she was my first friend in an international school. and she was really nice. and i did miss her. so it kinda sucked that i never really talked to her after we left. its been 4 years now.

well anyway. i did this english essay for practice today. i think its the crappiest essay ive ever written! i know ive said that a lot of times but this time it really is bad. i mean, i had hardly any quotes.. i got started then i sorta got stuck so i ended up crapping a lot through it and i pretty much summarised the play for one of my paragraphs. it was pretty stupid. i dont really want to hand it in. but he expects something. and since ive spent 1h30m on that im gonna hand it in anyway. ><
o crap. just remembered something. need to present something in english tomorrow and we're not really prepared. im gona go work on that now.

14 more schooldays

Yesterday was White Day.
and Pi Day. whoever thought of Pi Day!?!? (Pi= 3.14..... 14th of march)
and i found out that this year is the only time we can acklowledge the 6th of June- 6.6.6 because its the only year which is 06! well, we could celebrate that in 1906, 1806 etc.. and also 2106 etc. but u see, thats like.. every 1o0 years! so yeah. we're uh.. 'fortunate' to be living in this time. unfortunately, we wont be having shcool then so i wont be able to write 6.6.6 on my notes. haha.

anyway. Graduation Dinner.
this is becoming such a big issue, its silly. i mean, its graduation dinner. who doesnt go?? its the last thing we'll do with our entire grade. and probably the last time we'll see our teachers and everyone we love or hate in this school! So anyway... thats been pretty much the only thing we've been talking about over the past few days because some people cant decide whether to go or not. I made my decision on friday last week to GO. i mean, i CANT miss grad dinner. ive always wanted to go. its the final thing. but then on monday i was the ONLY person among my lunch hour friends who is going. by the end of today, there were 3 other people who MIGHT be going. because im going. (a chain reaction/domino effect sorta thing) hahaha. :P so anyway whether they are going or not is up to them (im not gonna force anyone but it would be nice if theyre going!) but im going anyway. there are other people i want to spend time with on my graduation night apart from them. in fact, these people(who are going) are probably gonna be those i miss the most from UWC.

its so strange. the one night i slept enough (about 5-6 hours. on a usual school night iget about 4-5) anywa.. yeah. last night i slept pretty well. but for some reason i was totally spaced out today. i almost lost $40. i bought the rockshow ticket (which was $10) with a $50 note. and i just sorta.. walked off. but then luckily the person selling it called me back and Swati who was with me was thinking ive gone completely insane. ah.
tomorrow we have assembly and we'll find out what are the themes for the 3 days of crazy dressing up on Grd 12's leavers week. its scary how fast thats coming up!

Saturday was one busy busy day...
i got up just after 8, went to school at 9 to 1 for math 'revision session' (which wasnt really helpful cuz all we did was this past exam paper...) got home, had lunch, watched a bit of tv (i think.. if not i dont remember what else i did). Then went to this Australian medical universities fair. talked to Curtin, Monash, and U of South Australia (USA. haha.. if i do go there i'll be saying 'i go to USA' haha) curtin and monash sounds hard to get in. they both want me to do good in math. im okay with chem already. dammit. WHY did i choose to do higher math!?!? actuallly.. im not sure if they expect my math to be higher. i think curtin wanted higher math.
anyway, now USA sounds really good. i only need 28 points.. haha. and its on a first come first served basis thing. so i can apply using my forecast results (the lady said i could) and find out whether im in or not as soon as possible. i think. and whats good about USA is that (according to the lady we talked to), the public transport is free everywhere, the university's computer lab is open 24/7 so if we need the comp to work till late at night, we can. and if we want to go home at like... 3am in the morning, we can call the uni's security ppl and they will send us home. that sounds too good to be true. i need to find out more...
anyway. and it also looks like a nice place. so why not?
so after the long time spent at the uni fair, i went to raffles plaza hotel and got there sometime before 6. we were having a sleepover there (thanks to amy!) so i dropped off my stuff in the hotel room, talked a while with amy, then wanda came and we went to Indochine for dinner. met up with othe rppl as well over there. there was this band (3 guitarists) at indochine. thats why we went there.
then went back to the hotel at around 10sth. and in all, 5 ppl stayed. didnt really get to sleep till 5:30. then sum crazy ppl who didnt sleep when i did went for a walk to the merlion at 6am to 7... but i was sleeping by then so i didnt know about it until we woke up the next morning.
so that was my saturday. and what we did the entire sat night instead of sleeping... well.. u dont have to know. :) but there was a lot of talking.

Today school was just the same old boring... but bioprac lesson today was uh... interesting. we're doing human reproduction. and we wtached this video... u know the guy who did Body Worlds (or sth like that?) where he plasticised real human bodies and displayed them... i saw that in korea, and it came to singapore a while ago~.anyway. so this video was done by him and his assistant n stuff. anyway. so, there was a real life model, a plasticised man, and a corpse who got injected with polymer stuff so its still all real life-ish (still soft and had like... liquid stuff). that dude DISSECTED this guy's 'reproductive organ'. basically he first cut up the scrotum, and RIPPED out the testes.. and cut that open as well and showed us the tube leading from it.. and so he cut up the body to follow the tube... and yeah.. cut summore etc etc. until he got to the penis, and cut that into half too. to show the whole tube from testis to penis... oh ya, and the life model... well he just pointed at stuff and showed to us in real life what is where and stuff. and therw as this lady who was painting on the parts that we couldnt see inside him on his body at the right places. ah. strange. anyway. so that was my bio class.
next week we'll be seeing the female reproductive organ. o btw, when he's dissecting that man.. u can HEAR it making squishy noises because of the fluids and tearing of the flesh. its nasty... oh, and we had to watch that cutting up of the testes bit 3 times cuz the dvd kept freezing. o_O
okay. enough for today.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOREEN!
cant believe i forgot to wish you when i talked to you earlier on... ><

I went to watch "someone who'll watch over me" at school just now. its a play with only 3 characters played by Matt, Phil and a grd 11 guy. In the play, one's an American, another's Irish and the third is British. they're put in a jail in Lebanon for dono what reason.. and basically about the 3 men.
it really amazes me how 3 people can do a play that is 2 hours long! imagine the amount that has to be memorized... and also how it may be 2 hours long, and only 3 characters, but my interest was maintained throughout. it was amazing. They were SO good... it was tres funny, sad and everything all together. one moment i was laughing and all of a sudden the atmosphere just changes, and ure like why the hell was i laughing, this isnt funny, this is serious.

Anyway, before that, when i came home from school, 'the mums' were still at my house (they came for lunch). Han's mom wanted to do make up for me, cuz she has the entire set and she's supposed to be really good. so yea. i let her do it. i wish i had the make up set. theres so many things! all the brushes.. colors.. etc etc. nice. :) She was pretty good.(well, personally i think it was nothign amazing i mean, she had everything rite?) but yea.... ^^ thats just me. im very critical sometimes...

we're already having graduation, grad dinner, and 'leavers week' discussions. wow. o, and what to wear for all the occasions....

went to Mc D's for lunch today with Swati. we found out how to get there. the mcd's at polytechnic. :) i was so full.. i got a stitch when walking back to school. swati did too. probably cuz of the coke tho. yes sheila, a stitch. :)
