The Easter Bunny

As we all know, Easter ended a couple of weeks ago. After the Easter weekend, Easter chocolates became really cheap in the supermarket. So my brother and I decided to finally lay our hands on one of those Easter Bunnies we've been seeing all around Adelaide for about a month.

My brother obviously had some sort of affinity towards the easter bunny...
Feel the love yet??

Unfortunately, the life of the Easter Bunny did not last long. Something as delicious and tempting as that cute little bunny cannot last long in a house of chocolate craving souls...

So a few days later...

This was what's left of the Easter Bunny.

Now even the wrapper ceases to exist. Thus, ends the life of this Easter Bunny...

New Soul- Yael Naim

I'm a new soul I came to this strange world hoping I could learn a bit about how to give and take. But since I came herefelt the joy and the fearfinding myself making every possible mistake

la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la...

I'm a young soul in this very strange world hoping I could learn a bit about what is true and fake. But why all this hate?
Try to communicate.
Finding trust and love is not always easy to make.

la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la...

This is a happy end cause' you don't understand everything you have done why's everything so wrong this is a happy end come and give me your hand I'll take your far away.

I'm a new soul I came to this strange world hoping I could learn a bit about how to give and take but since I came here felt the joy and the fear finding myself making every possible mistake

*don't mind me, I'm having a blogging frenzy.... but this song is worth listening to*

About time I posted some pictures

A couple of weeks ago I went to Red Square with Conie, Marina and Haris. Then we met up with Desmond and his friends. And we also bumped into a few familiar faces. Well... Adelaide is only so big...

Here are some pictures that the girls haven't uploaded... (because they're from my phone :P)

disco balls at the dance floor. Marina is taking their picture. Harris- you're looking at the wrong camera!
They have THE LIGHT.
very happy...
The bar.

And then there's the usual conieandmi camwhoring session...

So colorful. :)

Anyway, too bad we stopped taking pictures later in the night when Desmond and his friends showed up. So that's the end of pictures.

I wish...

I could write.
And not just WRITE like what I'm doing now. I wish I can write things that would have interest to people. Things that may provoke thought, or make one reflect upon oneself or others.

Unfortunately I can't. So I better stop here before this post becomes more of a joke than a regular failed attempt.

Blur... like sotong.

news.wisc.edu

I need to get my gear in place. I keep on messing up!
But then again, it's a friday, and there's only 1 more week to go before our mid-semester break! i can catch up then. 2 weeks... i should be able to put away some time for revision.

i came to practical today on time! (at least that's what i thought) i was actually early, so i waited in The Caf having my lunch until it was time for class. But when i showed up at prac- there was like um... 4 people there. And then one of them remembered Helen Stone's email- Pracs on the 4th April will start at 2:00pm instead of 1:00pm as scheduled. Experiments start at 1:30.

Darn.

So now i have an hour to wait for my class to start because i'm doing a practical.

i think i'm going home. i left my phone at home (my brother took it from me this morning and i forgot to take it back...)

So, im leaving. And i'll be back in about 45 mins time....

i love living so close to uni :)

temperature extremes

When I left my house this morning at 8am it was 11degC. When i went home at 12:30pm, it was 25degC.
Today's temperature hit a low at 10.5degC at 7:30am and a high of 26.5degC at 3pm. That's a difference of 16degC in 8 hours. I'm amazed.
It is currently 23degC. The temperature forecast for tomorrow is: low of 15, high of 17. ONLY 2 degC difference??? ARE YOU SERIOUS??
Well, we shall find out.

Why them not us?

I read through some 'famous blogs' recently like Kennysia and Dawn Yang. We all know who they are... they're famous because of their blogs!

So what makes their blogs different from ours? I'm not here to give you that answer, i'm just here to discuss what the possibilities may be. So if you're looking for answers, you're in the wrong place.

Kennysia is hillarious. He writes about pretty much everything- personal life, national news, events.... and he makes everything entertaining to read. He's also got pictures. Lots of them. I think pictures is what brings people to a blog. For that reason my blog is an uninhabited forrest... not even the birds fly by to look for fruits. (that's such a random analogy) Anyway, so kennysia isnt the most good looking guy or someone with an amazing body. But the fact that he's not afraid to expose everything about himself (and he seems like a pretty interesting person) makes people go back to his blog again and again and again... I go there just for some laughs.

Dawn yang... well. She's got heaps of pictures of herself. Of course that's perfectly fine cuz she's pretty and all that. (Imagine all of us did that in our blogs. I think some of us would chase people away and give them horrible nightmares...) With all the fancily photoshopped pictures with fancy borders and bakcgrounds etc etc. even pictures of her crying looks like its taken in a studio (yes, she has a picture of her crying. and even in that state she's pretty). But to be completely honest, I haven't read her blog enough to find out what she writes about or whether she's a good writer or what else brings people to her blog apart from those pictures...

What i DO know however, is that the more famous you are, the more people visit your blog. They somehow managed to become 'famous' by blogging, and for that reason, people are now reading their blog because they're 'famous' and because they're 'famous' they get to attend events for 'famous' people which lets them blog about famous people things which makes their blog posts even more interesting and therefore drawing even more people there. It's like an exponential dominoes effect. With a slow start...

Then again, i've only visited kennysia's blog about 3-4 times now and ive only been to dawn's site maybe a couple of times. So I dont know these bloggers here as well as lots of other people do. What i've written is just my first impression of their blogs.

I was going to do some research on their blogs before trying to come up with something to say on my blog, but kennysia decided to declare that he's going to STOP BLOGGING FOREVER from today. So i can't really acess his blog...
Then again, its april fool's day and you can't trust everything you read.

(and I'm just lazy to go to dawn yang's site... :P)

... that concludes another episode of my procrastination.
Maybe I really should study biochem now. I'm on lecture 2. i have about 8 lectures i think... to go through and learn by thursday. i have work later today. So i better study. study study study.
Or maybe i could start uploding pictures and writing about intelligent, interesting things and stop being depressing on my blog so people start reading my blog and I can be a famous blogger and I'd get paid to advertise on my blog and I can quit uni! That's an idea...

ok. enough. go.
